Cyber Stalking Definition: the use of technology, particularly the Internet, to harass someone. Common characteristics include false accusations, monitoring, threats, identity theft, and data destruction or manipulation. Cyber stalking also includes exploitation of minors, be it sexual or otherwise.
Examples: Someone follow someone else on social media and find out were they live by use their pictures and then threaten to rob them. People follow you on your social media accounts and they gather person information about you in order to steal your identity. |
